Cornerstone Church is a non-denominational Christian church in Irving, Texas and the heart of the Dallas/ Fort Worth Metroplex. Established by George Jurecka Sr. and his wife Hope in 1985, Cornerstone became a life giving church touching the lives of many. 

 

After Pastor Jurecka’s promotion to Heaven on January 26, 2021, the vision of Cornerstone continued to be fulfilled by his son, Pastor George (Bubba) Jurecka. For three years, Pastor George (Bubba) led the church with great heart and tenacity.  In those three years, he remodeled the majority of the church and prepared the people for the next season. 

 

Following the leading of the Holy Spirit, Pastor George began the search for a new full-time Lead Pastor. In April of 2024, Pastors Scott and Christina Caldwell became the Lead Pastors of Cornerstone. Honoring the heritage of the church, Pastor Scott and Christina are excited and passionate about leading Cornerstone into the next season and fulfilling the plans and purposes God has for Cornerstone. We believe God has saved the best for Cornerstone, for this season!

Cornerstone Church exists TO KNOW CHRIST AND MAKE HIM KNOWN. Our vision consists of four scripture based purposes we believe enable us to build the Kingdom of God.

▪️Encourage and Equip the church - Acts 14:21-22/ Ephesians 4:11-13
